April Product Update

April 5th:

  • We released an update for our Contact Center users. Customers who enable the feature for use of the Federal DNC on their system can now utilize that data on uploads. Customers can scrub their contacts on upload against that Federal DNC database and those contacts will be removed from the upload file. View the full release notes...
  • Along with quick-stats about a count of how many contact were on the Federal and Internal customers DNC, the customer will also be able to download a data list of those results.
  • April 7, 2023

    • Email as a Workflow Node
      • We added the ability to include an email template trigger into a workflow. You can add your Hubspot, MainGun or Sendgrid credentials into the system and use email templates to trigger messages to customers. The email node, like other nodes pairs well with Ytel contacts so that you can pluck attributes of a contact out and use them in the body of your emails.
    • Branded Calling Form
      • We added the ability to create a Branded Calling business profile and add numbers to your Branded Calling business from the Business Profile section.
    • Video Conferencing
      • For video conferencing we added the ability for Ytel users to mute and unmute the video of guests on a video conference call.
  • April 18th

    • We released an update to set the default timeout on the make call api to 60 seconds, it was formerly at 30 seconds.
  • April 22nd

    • Fix for SMS failures not showing up in the SMS logs. These included hard failures like sending to an invalid phone number and internal number.

      • Made a change to call to set the default time out to 60 seconds rather then 30 seconds
    • Contact Center
      • GMT timezone fix is in production for data uploader on YCC
      • Fixed to the Data Loader in Contact Center for situation where files including the following situations are automatically cleaned up (duplicate headers, empty headers, special characters in the headers)
